Apply to Benedictine

Undergraduates may apply here or with The Common Application.

Benedictine has three application periods:

  1. Early Action: The Early Action period is for students who have a strong interest in attending Benedictine College and believe they can present a complete application during the first semester of their senior year. The deadline to apply Early Action is November 15. The key benefit to applying Early Action is to receive the earliest possible admit decision and scholarship notification. Early Action is a non-binding application process.
  2. Regular Admission: The Regular Admission Deadline is December 1. Regular Admission is similar to Early Action but offers a slightly later time frame. Regular Admission is a non-binding application process.
  3. Rolling Admission: Any application received after December 1 falls into our rolling admission cycle. This application process allows students to apply within a larger window of time and add seventh semester grades to their admission record.

Standard Application

We will notify you typically within two weeks after we receive your application along with your test score and high school transcript. The standard application plan allows students to submit official or unofficial test scores and high school transcripts.

  • An official score report may be submitted directly from ACT (1444), SAT (6056), or CLT. Score reports may also be mailed or sent through a secure website (eg. College Board) or directly from your high school.
  • An Official High School Transcript(s) (showing six semesters of grades) from all secondary schools you have attended. Home-educated students must submit Official Transcripts from a primary educator.

Benedictine College will accept unofficial test scores for admission purposes. An unofficial test score includes a screen shot from the ACT, SAT, or CLT website that includes your name, date of test, and complete breakdown of scores received. Benedictine College accepts the highest composite score from a single examination; superscores are not accepted.

All freshmen who are admitted and ultimately enroll at Benedictine will need to submit official test scores prior to their entry term, e.g. Fall 2025. Official score reports may be sent directly from the testing agency, on an official transcript, or sent from a school counselor.

Test Optional Application

Benedictine College offers a test optional application plan.

All applicants, including student athletes, are eligible to apply as a test optional candidate. We will use the highest grade point average on the high school transcript to determine acceptance. Test optional candidates with a cumulative grade point average below a 3.0 will be required to complete an interview process with Admissions staff.

All freshmen who are admitted and ultimately enroll at Benedictine will need to submit an official high school transcript prior to their entry term, e.g. Fall 2025.

Unofficial High School Transcripts

Benedictine College will accept unofficial transcripts for admission purposes. Applicants may submit a screenshot or an emailed copy of the high school transcript to ravenmail@big5vn.com or to their admission counselor. Transcripts must have student’s name and at least six semesters of work shown.

All freshmen who are admitted and ultimately enroll at Benedictine will need to submit an official high school transcript prior to their entry term, e.g. Fall 2025.
